Andrews Garden Project is a website to collect and share family projects (and stories) that honor our passed loved ones, leaving a legacy or memorial sharing with others who they were and what they meant to this world while they lived among us.
Projects in Andrew's Garden are based on Permaculture, or "Permanent Agriculture," a science that respects all living things on the planet. In memory of our loved ones we plan and execute a living project that makes the best use of available resources while respecting the environment we live in.
Andrew’s Garden Project came about due to one person (Andrew Patrin) and his wish to raise public awareness of Permaculture principles respecting all living organisms and their need for growth at their own developmental level and pace. Unfortunately, he succumbed to suicide before his personal dreams could be realized. The first garden project, "Patrin Banana Circle," helped Andrew's family in their grief journey….maybe a similar project can do the same for you.
Enjoy and share! Send your project ideas to the Contact (website administrator).
